If she can do it…

See my Mum is a pretty amazing woman. Can’t even lie. There is no family get together that we all don’t joke about her awesome sayings… “Food is not your master”, “It’s only pain, ignore it”, she gives you a whooping and when you start crying she goes “Wipe your face, or I’ll give you something to cry about” lmao. It brings tears to my eyes as I write this and try to hold back my laughter thinking of the things she would say.

But really, I have never met anyone that sees life like she does. She finds a way to be encouraged when there is nothing to smile about. Even in the worst situation, she knows God is in control. She tries to fix herself before asking the next person to change. She finds the sweetest way to say the most annoying things “Moren darling, you’re looking so pretty… when are you going to fix your hair” When she knows I just got it done but she doesn’t like it.  Lol. She never speaks negative into her situation, so much so that one of the things I admire most…She never called any of us a negative name… Her worst was “You’re not silly in Jesus name” lol.

Life has been throwing some curveballs at me and it’s been a long week. I know many times eating well and working out don’t quite fix the problems even if they ease the stress. It takes a little more to be a more rounded and happy person. I found myself really low and thinking of this made me laugh, feel encouraged and challenge myself. Figured I’d share… I mean, if she can do it, we can definitely try! Life always works itself out and if that doesn’t get you all the way there… Hey! It’s Friday 😀 :D. Have a wonderful weekend
