ISN’T K 1000?

Isn't K calories

So I was about to have some cereal for breakfast when I decided to use a sachet of peak milk. I had poured a teaspoon in my bowl when it clicked to check the calories. I looked on the back and it said 510Kcal! I was confused how such a small packet was worth that much. So I hopped on Google… Apparently the US is the only place that uses calories… most other countries use kcals and they are equivalent. They also list them as “energy” on the nutrition list as opposed to “calories”. I saw this and all was well.. I could then enjoy my breakfast:)
